Who We Are

The Christian fellowship at Garfield Gospel Chapel is a local evangelical church that is both self-­supporting and self­-governing. It has no denominational affiliation, but it maintains contact with hundreds of similar groups throughout the world.

The basis of our fellowship is a common personal faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. We accept the Bible as having authority over us as individuals and as an assembly. It is all­-sufficient to make known God's plan for our salvation and shape our lives.

Our meetings, government, and principles of behavior are a conscious effort to apply Scripture as we believe it was applied in the early days of the New Testament Church.

• We will be engaging in a prayer walk from 8AM-Noon on January 18. Bring your Bibles, prayer journals, and participate in a period of extended prayer while walking through our neighborhood.
